Background and Education

After graduating with a Bachelors degree in Cell Biology and Genetics at UBC, Dr. Min received his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster, BC. He is also board certified in Intravenous (IV) Nutrient Therapy, Acupuncture and Prescriptive Authority in BC.

Philosophy

Dr. Min believes in an integrative, evidence-based approach to get to the root of his patients health concerns. As a second generation Korean-Canadian, he experienced the effectiveness of both eastern and western medicine first-hand, and how the body has an amazing capacity to heal itself from a cellular level if given the right environment to thrive. By utilizing the many tools he gained from his extensive training in sports injuries, nutrition, lifestyle counseling, supplementation, and botanical medicine, Dr. Min strives to provide a truly integrative and individualized treatment plan to help empower his patients towards optimal physical, mental, and emotional health.

History

Through his numerous endeavors around the world – from living on an organic tea farm in Korea, to harvesting lavender in California – Dr. Min has learned to appreciate the power of eating good, real food, and loves to educate and share his passion for food and health by often giving talks at tea festivals and holding sourdough bread workshops. He also loves to share his knowledge of physical medicine and spinal manipulations by helping teach students at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine - Boucher Campus in New Westminister. He also loves to play basketball, practice judo, and take photography.
