Practitioner Feature: Mariana Mousouliotis, RMT

Stepping into Mariana’s office allows the hustle and bustle of Vancouver city to be put on pause.

The energy of the room is calm, soothing, and restful to facilitate healing. Naturally, massage is an avenue to re-establish harmony between self and environment of existence.

Practicing in Vancouver since 2011, Mariana has developed a diverse set of skills.
Each treatment begins with discussion and development of intention for the session. With therapeutic and restorative modalities, each massage is catered to the specific anatomy presentation of the individual patient. Mariana’s empathetic and intuitive nature recognizes emotions and the interconnectedness with the body and mind, developing ways to restore, revitalize, reawaken and sometimes, simply to reconnect to one’s self.

Courses of interest have been in fascial therapy, pre-natal and post-natal care including Caesarean sections, and restorative mobility. Her practice supports many types of patients including injuries, surgeries, visceral treatment, scar tissue, athletics and relaxation.

Mariana lives in Vancouver with her husband. They love to travel, and love to restore vitality through Vancouver’s green spaces and mountains. Mariana has a passion for cooking, creating art, exercising and spending quality time with family and friends.

“There is a life-force within your soul, seek that life.

There is a gem in the mountain of your body, seek that mine.

O traveler, if you are in search of That.

Don’t look outside, look inside yourself and seek That”. -Rumi
